Early in 2010 Mike Portnoy make splashy world of rock music. He chose to leave the band which was also formed, Dream Theater. Mike chose to help Avenged Sevenfold (A7X) to work on the album and tour after the death of their drummer, The Rev.
But Mike was never really become permanent personnel A7X. Curly-haired man is more like the status that is only as additional.
Now Mike was his duty to accompany A7X has ended. 43-year-old drummer left the M Shadows cs.
"When Mike agrees to tour with us, it only until the end of 2010. He always knows when we need to find new solutions for 2011 and beyond. And it's time for us to take the next step,"the release issued by A7X reported by NME, on Tuesday (21 / 12 / 2010).
Mike officially resigned from A7X on 17 December. Previously, Mike had offered to return with Dream Theater, but he refused. Now Dream Theater is still busy looking for a new drummer.
While A7X tour schedule in early 2011 is still very solid. Until now the band's last concert in August 2008 in Indonesia was not yet announce who their new drummer.
