Street Art or street art is any art developed in public spaces such as, "the streets" - though the term usually refers to unsanctioned art, as opposed to government sponsored initiatives. This term can include traditional graffiti artwork, stencil graffiti, sticker art, street posters wheatpasting, video projection, art intervention, guerrilla art, flash mobbing and street installations. Usually, the term street art or more specifically to the art of graffiti that can be used to distinguish contemporary public space artwork from territorial graffiti, vandalism, and corporate art.
Artists have been challenged by placing art in non-art contexts. 'Artists from the street does not aspire to change the definition of a work of art, but questioning the existing environment with its own language. They tried to have their daily work to communicate with people about social themes relevant to the way that is informed by the aesthetic values without restrained.
