With the help of computers, the scientists will be easy to identify the structure, shape and interactions of proteins in cancer growth. Later, volunteer computers will be connected to one another.
"With this project imaging as six times more protein and reduce the processing time," said the scientists who joined in the project, told PC World, Friday (26/06/2010).
The scientists also train the system to recognize 80 percent of imaging with a crystal element and the 98 percent drop from the clear solution before the crystallized protein.
Crystallization is a key factor in the investigation of biological processes. Crystallization also allows X-ray light flashed on the sample proteins and reflects in many directions. The scientists admit this kristaliasi complicated process millions of times to speed up crystallization.
